The Y of Central Maryland, continuing a long tradition of being a meeting place for all, is hosting a series of facilitated conversations involving community members.

These conversations will focus on the effects of racial divisions in our communities. The series is sponsored by the Maryland Humanities Council, building upon the University of Baltimore 's Baltimore '68: Riots and Rebirth project. Conversations will explore the misperceptions about race and changing race relations in the Central Maryland region. The dialogue will provide a deeper more comprehensive understanding of where we have been as a community and where we are going.
