Scope
and Content Note:
Esther Lazarus' papers span the years 1915 to 1980, with the
bulk of the items concentrated in the period from 1950 to 1979. The
collection represents her work at the Baltimore Department of Social
Services and at various other organizations. Personal documents are
virtually nonexistent. The papers have been divided into five series,
contained in six boxes.
